Requirements to be designated as CERTIFIED:
- Successful completion of the Level 1 Volleyball Course.
- Successful completion of the following Multi-Sport Modules (Level 1 Theory):
I. Ethical Coaching
II. Planning a Practice
III. Nutrition
- Observe a practice directed by a NCCP certified volleyball coach (Level 1 or higher) and complete a Practice Observation Form provided.
- After 40 training hours, be evaluated by a Level 2 Coach or higher (mentor coach) in a practice setting.
- Membership with your Provincial/Territorial Volleyball Association during the full period in which the follow-up requirements are being completed.

Requirements to be designated as CERTIFIED:
- A) Successful completion of the Level 2 Volleyball Course.
- Completion of the Level 2 in-course assessment process.
- Successful completion of the following Multi-Sport Modules (Part A and B) or Theory 1 and 2:
I. Ethical Coaching
II. Planning a Practice
III. Nutrition
IV. Designing a Basic Sport Program
V. Teaching/Learning
VI. Teaching Basic Mental Skills
- Observe a practice directed by a NCCP certified volleyball coach (Level 2 or higher) and complete the Level 2 Practice Observation Form.
- After 80 training hours, be evaluated in a practice setting according to the following criteria:
If Level 2 in-course assessment was successful:
- A Level 3 NCCP Certified volleyball mentor coach where the candidate coach must demonstrate:
- A solid ability to manage a practice environment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
- Appropriate practice planning techniques.
- An understanding of their own coaching principles and philosophies and the ability to apply those principles and philosophies in a consistent manner.
If Level 2 in-course assessment was unsuccessful:
- A Level 2 NCCP Certified volleyball Learning Facilitator or other approved evaluator where the candidate coach must demonstrate:
- A solid ability to manage a practice environment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
- Appropriate practice planning techniques.
- An understanding of their owncoaching principles and philosophies and the ability to apply those principles and philosophies in a consistent manner.
- Membership with your Provincial/Territorial Volleyball Association during the full period in which the follow-up requirements are being completed.
